Railcar to truck. Nothing in between.

The load-bearing gantry deck carries the excavator upper structure above the wagon and leaves a clear passage below. From one elevated working position, the operator can see into the car body, enter the bucket vertically and discharge directly into the waiting truck without first building a ground stockpile.

How does the railway wagon unloading gantry work?

A four-leg gantry raises the excavator upper structure above the open railcar while leaving a clear passage underneath. The bucket enters from above and transfers coal, ore or another suitable free-flowing material directly into a truck.

What excavator size can be used on the straddle undercarriage?

The published reference range is a 13–22 tonne tracked host excavator. Final matching requires the exact machine model, operating weight, center of gravity, slew interface, hydraulic data and the required working envelope.

Are the 4.2 metre passage dimensions fixed?

No. The 4.2 m clear width, 4.2 m clear height and 6.2 m overall length describe one reference configuration. Each gantry is dimensioned around the buyer’s railcars, track centers, overhead clearance and site layout.

Can PINSHENG convert an excavator the buyer already owns?

Yes, subject to engineering review. The retrofit option includes a transition base, straddle undercarriage and interface package after the host machine’s structure, weight, center of gravity, hydraulic system and controls have been verified.

How much can direct railcar-to-truck unloading improve output?

The brochure cites a target gain of 50 percent or better in combined loading efficiency for a project reference. Actual output depends on the material, travel and swing distances, truck availability, wagon geometry and operator experience, so it is not a guaranteed production rate.
